
In consort with our dreams, the state of sleep provides the setting for vital human functions, such as the creation of remarkable images and portraits of people. Our state of sleep also provides the neural foundation for dream-based narratives that teach us, entertain us and warn us of what we can anticipate in the life we lead when waking in the morning.
